Its progressive layering provides great filtration efficiency and dust holding capacity, while not requiring the use of oils. This media is best suited for street and light off-road use. Its expanded metal provides impact protection. The one-piece sealed housing, constructed of heat-resistant XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) polymer, features our patent-pending filter-to-housing interface. Its innovative design minimizes the total number of parts, making for an easy installation. A clear sight window allows for hassle-free filter inspection, without having to disassemble your system. This system uses a high performance reinforced silicone intake tube to achieve maximum power gains while maintaining a perfect fit. The air inlet duct is constructed from XLPE that is heat soak resistant and extremely durable. It is CAD designed for perfect fitment and connects to the housing with a silicone bellow coupling to accommodate engine movement. High quality premium clamps and a silicone bellow coupling are used for durability while also providing the most secure installation available. Momentum GT intakes are designed with fewer parts for a quick and simple installation.

I found a simple fix that works extremely well: applying a small amount of rosin (the same kind used for violin bows) to the friction point where the rotating arm meets the suction base. That added grip completely solved the issue. Now the mount stays exactly where I position it, even in the heat. Solid product, and with that minor adjustment, it performs exactly how I need it to.

Overall this is a pretty decent phone mount. I have used it with both the windshield and vent mounts. The only problem I have is the design of the ball swivel. The socket contains a rubber piece to help increase the grip, but over time heat from the sun or the air vent makes the ball glue itself to this rubber piece. When you try to make an adjustment, the ball will not move in the socket and ends up breaking the socket. This is happened to me twice.
